Zamir Chorale of Boston performs Bloch Sacred Service

The Zamir Chorale of Boston will perform the Bloch Sacred Service at Sanders Theatre in Cambridge, MA on Sunday evening, June 5 at 7:30 pm. Along with the Bloch, the first half of the concert will be a selection of music commissioned by Zamir over the years, including “Shir Ahavah” by Jef Labes, “The Rainbow” by Daniel Pinkham, “Harninu” by Benjie Ellen Schiller, and the world premiere of “Et Hazzamir Higgiya” by Yehezkel Braun. A pre-concert talk featuring the composers whose works Zamir commissioned and is performing at this 36th Anniversary Gala Concert. It will take place in Loker Common, one level down from Sanders Theatre, 6:15-7:00 p.m. After June 2nd, all ticket orders will be processed by the Harvard box-office exclusively.
